Georges Sioufi is a lawyer admitted to the Paris and Beirut Bars.

He is the Managing Partner of SRDB Law Firm, a law firm he founded ten years ago.
SRDB operates across approximately twenty countries in the Middle East and Africa and is primarily involved in high-stakes litigation, arbitration, and strategic transactions.

Georges has extensive experience in dispute resolution, including litigation and arbitration proceedings, as well as negotiated settlements. He is personally involved in the firm’s most strategic and sensitive matters and is also recognized for his sector-specific expertise in transportation, infrastructure, energy, and financing.

Prior to founding SRDB, Georges began his career in Beirut with Marcel Sioufi Law Firm.
He subsequently joined the CMA CGM Group, where he headed the legal department and held several senior executive positions for nearly 25 years. In this capacity, he also served as Special Advisor to the Chairman, advising on the Group’s key strategic matters, notably in connection with restructuring and refinancing operations.
This first-hand experience within a leading international group continues to inform his pragmatic approach to complex transactions and cross-border disputes.

Georges also served as a judge at the Marseille Commercial Court from 1996 to 1998. Since 2004, he has acted as an arbitrator and has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Paris Maritime Arbitration Chamber.

He holds a Master’s degree in Private Law from Paris II Panthéon-Assas University, a degree in Lebanese Law, and a postgraduate diploma (DESS) in Transport Law from Aix-en-Provence University.
