Philippe Aziz is a partner of SRDB Law Firm in Lebanon. Since 1996, he has acquired multidisciplinary experience in Beirut, working with the law firm Badri & Salim El Meouchi in commercial and banking law as well as in litigation.
In 2005, he joined the Bank of Beirut as in-house legal counsel, where he refined his expertise in the banking sector.
In 2008, he became senior legal counsel at Millennium Development International, a leading real estate development management company within the Saraya Group owned by Lebanese Prime Minister Saad Hariri. There, he supported the company’s expansion into mega city construction projects in Aktau (Kazakhstan) and Medini Iskandar (Malaysia).
In 2012, he transitioned to the freight forwarding & record management sectors at the multinational Aramex Group, where he became senior legal counsel, covering, among other areas, all French-speaking territories.
In 2016, he joined Benta Pharma Industries (BPI) as group general counsel, where he served as a member of the executive and credit committees of the group’s board of directors. During his tenure, he gained valuable knowledge in the development of manufacturing processes. While at BPI, he led the legal team during BPI’s acquisition of the “Famar Lyon” pharmaceutical site in Saint-Genis Laval as part of a judicial recovery process before the Paris Commercial Court.
Philippe holds a law degree from Saint-Joseph University of Beirut, a DEA in General Private Law from the same university, and a DESS in Arbitration and Alternative Dispute Resolution from Paris II University (Assas).
