Dialogue with OHADA: Perspectives on Justice and Arbitration in Africa

SRDB Law Firm - Ziad Beylouni, Dr Alexis NDZUENKEU, Georges Sioufi

It was with great pleasure that we welcomed Dr. Alexis Ndzuenkeu to our office last Thursday – the Director of Legal Affairs for OHADA.

It was a fascinating exchange during which we discussed varied topics such as the operation of the Common Court of Justice and Arbitration (the “CCJA”), its role, and its independence relative to the 17 African member states of OHADA.

Since its modern inception in 1993, the OHADA institution has quickly established itself and is already deeply embedded within these 17 countries. It continues to progress further in the face of community challenges that may arise.

We are delighted to have shared this moment with one of its important representatives.

Thanks also to Dani El Habel and the Juris-intelligence team for helping us organize this meeting.
