Mohanad Hussein is a seasoned lawyer, specializing in corporate and commercial law. He is also the Managing Partner of Abdou Law Firm (ALF), member of SRDB Worldwide Network in Libya.

Having successfully overseen the establishment of numerous companies in Libya, he is the go-to expert for establishing foreign entities in the country.

He also has a wealth of experience in the drafting and reviewing of contracts for both local and international clients. He has been involved in multi-million-dollar contracts for some of the firm’s largest clients. Recently, he successfully negotiated a multi-million Euro contract on behalf of the Misurata Free Zone, the largest free zone in Libya, to develop its infrastructure.

He recently advised a major international energy company on the restructuring of its international operations. He has also provided guidance on partnership agreements and has worked on public-private partnership agreements between a major state-owned telecommunications company and the private sector.

As ALF’s Managing Partner, he implements the firm’s strategies and oversees its overall management.

Prior to joining the firm, he developed an in-house career in the corporate sector, working for some of the largest companies in Libya.

He served as a member of the executive committee at a private corporate bank, where he developed new strategies and managed the legal department.
He also previously served as a member of a committee at the Ministry of Economy related to the Establishment of Foreign Entities in Libya.
