Thaísa Dias de Moraes is an Associate Lawyer at SRDB Law Firm, where she advises French and international clients on matters involving business law, corporate law, contract law, banking and finance law, maritime law, and dispute resolution. Her practice encompasses both advisory and litigation work, from the initial assessment of a case to the development and implementation of tailored litigation strategies, including in cross-border matters.
She holds a law degree from Fluminense Federal University in Brazil, a postgraduate qualification in Constitutional Law from Candido Mendes University, also in Brazil, and a Master’s degree in Business Law from Aix-Marseille University, specialising in Maritime Law and Management. Her academic background has provided her with an in-depth understanding of the legal and economic challenges facing businesses, international transactions, and the maritime sector.
Thaísa has over fifteen years of professional experience in international legal and business environments. She began her career in Rio de Janeiro in 2010, working with law firms specialising in business law, civil law, insurance law, maritime law, and litigation. Notably, she practised at Kincaid | Mendes Vianna Advogados Associados, a law firm specialising in maritime law, where she gained significant experience in matters involving maritime transport, insurance, and international transactions.
Throughout her career, she has advised companies and individuals on both contentious and non-contentious matters involving contractual, commercial, and international issues. Her practice includes contract negotiation and review, dispute management, dealings with financial institutions, maritime operations, and matters involving multiple jurisdictions.
This experience enables her to approach cases from a comprehensive perspective, quickly identify key issues, and deliver solutions that are legally sound, clear, and practical.
Admitted to the Rio de Janeiro Bar in 2014 and the Marseille Bar in 2025, she brings a dual legal background and first-hand knowledge of Brazilian and French legal practices. She has also practised in Portugal, where she was registered with the Portuguese Bar Association, further strengthening her experience of Lusophone and European legal environments.
Her international career reflects the perseverance and cross-cultural outlook that characterise her professional approach.
Thaísa advises clients in French, Portuguese, and English. She works particularly with Brazilian, French, and other Lusophone companies, investors, and individuals, assisting them with their projects, business relationships, and international disputes.
At SRDB Law Firm, she heads the Angola Desk. She also contributes to developing the firm’s relationships with companies, investors, and individuals based in or operating across Portuguese-speaking countries.
