Dr. Abdulrahman Yahia Baamir is the founder of BAAMIR Law Firm, SRDB Law Firm’s in Saudi Arabia.

In addition to his academic contributions in the fields of arbitration and Saudi law, Abdulrahman advises and represents clients on a broad range of legal, commercial, and dispute resolution matters, both contentious and non-contentious. His areas of expertise include Sharia law and Saudi law, covering foreign direct investment, IT law, commercial law, engineering and construction, international commercial arbitration, and litigation.

Abdulrahman represents clients before all Saudi courts as well as before ad hoc and institutional arbitration tribunals both within and outside of Saudi Arabia. His client base includes companies listed on the NYSE and Fortune 500 members in the petrochemical, mining, and engineering sectors, as well as listed companies and high-net-worth individuals from GCC countries.

Abdulrahman has provided expert opinions on various issues in numerous legal proceedings (including U.S. and U.K. court cases) and international arbitrations and has acted as an arbitrator in several cases related to construction, goods sales, and foreign investments.
